Most of these companies rent by the day, but offer lower mileage rates than those of the giant corporations. However, because of the nature of these smaller companies, there may be further restrictions on the rental agreement and you may need to pass a driving record check before you are allowed to use their vehicles. The two main companies that offer cargo vans in Salt Lake City are as follows:

Affordable Rent-a-car – this company offers several different types of vehicles for pretty much any occasion and is generally less expensive than any of the other agencies that offer large work vans. Affordable offers rentals in the $300 to $400 range.
